This is just an entry because I can't stand having an old post from my Japan trip on my first page any longer.

I've added a lot of new devotions and scraps so please take a look in my gallery and leave some comments.

Omurisu Week

Fri May 23, 2008, 10:19 PM
Last weekend we went to hakodate, this is a part of an e-mail to my parents about what we did there:

(i'm to lazy to write it all again)

-------
Min helg:

Running on Sapporo-

The week after has been pretty boring, i didn't have any money left but i talked to my friends at school a lot.

Today, Saturday, we had a sports festival with different games and such. I't was really fun.

Today i was also asked to participate in the school festival beauty contest. Out of random curiosity i said yes but i hope it does not involve swimsuits or me answering questions in japanese.

The school festival begins at 13 Juli and everyone is hyped about it. The bun-ga (novels and manga) club will be making a paper and showing anime, IFA (international Friendship Association) will be serving waffles and Miku will play with her orchestra. And apparently i will be doing a beauty contest... I hope poi is allowed as a talent for the show.

The best thing about this week have been the food. One of the restaurants had an omurise theme week! Every day i have been eating omurise. It's amazingly good for school food.

Communication here is getting better and better. I'm really lucky to have made so many friends here. But i still miss sweden a lot. Especially all my clubs and friends. And johan of cores.

Hugs
//Anna

Arufu and Max report:
They are both doing well, Arufu is now known at school for liking melon soda, my girls cant see one without mentioning his name anymore.
Maxi have been translating an love/romantic/almost ero dojinshi and have already started the next one. He complains about doing it, regrets it and says he wants to stop but so far he's still at it.

long time, no see

Sat May 10, 2008, 9:04 AM
Sense last time i've done quite a few things.

On monday it was children day and we got up really early to meet with Moto, Yuko and Yukos cousin and sister. We spent the whole day with them, starting with a tour in sapporos local zoo park.
I really felt bad for all the animals, the cages were all too small. But otherwise it was fun. The japanese girls had a blast over Arufu and Max riding in the same cart in one of the rides. They couldn't stop laughing about it. ^_^'
After, Yukos sister brought us to Animate, a big store of manga and anime things. I bought lots of art supplies and a cd*. I also found a store entirely dedicated to yaoi (!).
Then we went to sing karaoke XD. That was really fun, Arufu sang a lot... And I sang too, at least i've learned some japanese songs. Arfufu where a big help though. I'm not really good at memorizing but he seem to have a skill for it.
After that we had been active from seven in the morning to eight at evening and everybody went home. I was totally worn out by all that.

Children's day means, besides everyone being free and therefor too many people everywhere, that everyone buys some sort of fish flags to put in there yard. They are not really beautiful to look at but they seem to like it ^^'

*The story about the cd:
The Japanese anime stuff store where playing a swedish song, arufu discovered. I went there and heard it was “Caramelldansen”.
Why I didn't run in that instant I do not know, but its existence here being so silly I bought the cd. It turnes out it's teamed around meemee music. I do not think the world needs more off that though. But I now now own a meemee cd with a pantieshot on the cover.

Tuesday I didn't do anything. We played some risk. I won ^_^.

Wednesday we had school again, and we all tried to do Japanese tea ceremony. It was really tiresome, sitting on the floor for over an hour. But the teacher was really nice and vary passionate about her art. And it did really calm you, being there nothing else but tea mattered.
I failed badly at the actual ceremony though. My biggest mistake was apparently cleaning the mug with my napkin...
And we ate at a restaurant here in minamisawa, yakiniku, where you have a little table grill too cook your meat on. It was amazingly good.

Thursday we went to sing karaoke with our teachers. It was great fun and we drank a lot of beer. We stayed out until three I think. The taxi didn't know the way to tokai he told after half the way, and of cores we didn't ether. I will never understand the japanese taxi culture.

Friday we made a farewell dinner for one of us from Sweden who is returning home because of some family issues. We made Swedish meatballs with potatoes and the teachers brought tons of desserts. I have not eaten that much sense coming here and I have been missing potatoes.
It was a really sad occasion with him leaving though, i'll miss him really much.
We also had a ping pong tournament (yes, we have made a ping pong table out of the kitchen tables, video cases and napkin boxes) but I was defeated by my japanese teacher.

Saturday I went to the bun-ga club welcome party and ate yakiniku (again), this time in susukino. It was both cheaper and better this time though. We ate tabehoodai, all you can eat and drink, so I ate a lot. I even tried pigs tung.
I bounded with a lot of the members and made lots of friends.

Max and Arufu report:

When I got home today, the girl living next door was really worried.
She had apparently mentioned to Max that her computer needed japanese language support. Her computer is kind of failing though and a lot of the necessary functions are missing. Max had gotten really obsessed with this and had spent a lot of hours staring at the computor.
But he seemed fine when I saw him later though, just somewhat high on pinky.

Arufu where the one upset. He's getting totally beaten at his new strategic military game by yoichi, the japanese dorm advisor, and was playing the same coerce over and over again. He got quite mad when I laughed at his character dying. Arufu plays with real intensity.

I have to stop now I think, i'm falling asleep I I writhe...

good bye, miss all in sweden, hugs.
